Welcome to the Mess! This project was started by us, the Baldwin family, in 2021 shortly after we had our fourth baby. Jim Baldwin has always loved nature. As a child he was often found outside, hunting snakes, bugs, and lizards and enjoying the Florida sunshine. This love of nature grew into adulthood and became a love for camping and primitive skills. When we outgrew our house with a fourth little blessing, we knew this was the time to make a big move and buy land. God blessed us with an amazing property on the outskirts of Callahan and we love to pass that blessing along to others! We frequently host friends and campers, encouraging them to come enjoy nature and soak up the relaxation that comes from getting away from the hustle for a little while.
